Role & responsibilities

1. Workshop Operations & Workflow Management

✅ Oversee the daily operations of the service workshop, ensuring smooth workflow.
✅ Allocate jobs to technicians based on their skills and job urgency.
✅ Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs.
✅ Optimize service schedules to reduce turnaround time and maximize efficiency.

2. Vehicle Inspection, Diagnosis & Quality Control

✅ Ensure all vehicles undergo proper diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
✅ Conduct final inspections to verify repairs meet safety and quality standards.
✅ Approve or reject completed work before vehicle handover to customers.
✅ Address any technical issues and provide guidance to technicians when needed.

3. Customer Service & Communication

✅ Act as a liaison between service advisors, technicians, and customers.
✅ Provide updates to customers on repair status, delays, or additional work required.
✅ Handle customer complaints, ensuring quick resolution and customer satisfaction.
✅ Assist in explaining technical issues to customers in a simple, clear manner.

4. Spare Parts & Inventory Management

✅ Ensure required spare parts and tools are available for scheduled repairs.
✅ Coordinate with the parts department to track inventory levels and avoid shortages.
✅ Approve part replacements and ensure cost-effective procurement.

5. Compliance & Safety Management

✅ Ensure workshop operations comply with manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations.
✅ Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols in the service area.
✅ Train and enforce the use of protective gear and equipment among staff.

6. Team Supervision & Training

✅ Supervise and motivate service technicians and workshop staff.
✅ Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to the team.
✅ Arrange training sessions to update the team on the latest automotive technologies.

7. Reporting & Documentation

✅ Maintain detailed records of vehicle repairs, service history, and job cards.
✅ Generate reports on workshop performance, job completion rates, and efficiency metrics.
✅ Analyze workshop data to identify areas for improvement in service operations.

Preferred candidate profile : graduate and only from Automobile industry
