Job Description
Role Overview:
As an Analyst supporting the Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and impact of our organization
This role will involve business development, proposal writing, identifying potential partners, and conducting research to enhance strategic collaborations
You will work across diverse sectors (social and economic empowerment, women's and child development, climate change, education, and skills) to advance our mission of delivering meaningful social impact
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership management support
Undertake primary and secondary research to identify suitable partners in the organizations focus areas in India, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe
Co-ordinate with cross functional teams to identify requirements for suitable partners for business development
Maintain an up-to-date database of existing and prospective partners
Support the development and nurturing of long-term relationships with stakeholders
Create detailed reports and partner profiles
Strategic initiatives
Undertake landscape assessments to seek, sense and analyze trends in the funding environment and develop strategy documents for each vertical to achieve desired objectives
Collaborate with cross cutting teams to understand IPEs interventions and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes
Undertake knowledge management by collecting and collating information available under each vertical
This would also include creating and updating program strategy documents, decks and support in scale up of existing interventions
Analyse market trends and funding landscapes across sectors such as social empowerment, women's and child development, climate change, education, and skills development
Business development
Develop outreach strategies to engage potential partners and clients
Support the drafting and editing of proposals and grant applications
Ensure high-quality, persuasive content tailored to client needs and funding requirements
Collaboration and Communication
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support business development activities
Prepare presentations and materials for stakeholder meetings
Assist in compiling necessary documentation and liaising with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines
Qualifications, skills and experience:
Education: Masters degree in fields such as Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, Business, Public Policy, or related disciplines
Experience: 0-2 years of experience in business development, partnership management, proposal writing, or research
Previous experience in the social impact, consulting, or development sectors is preferred
Writing Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and reports
Research Analysis: Proficiency in conducting qualitative and quantitative research
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and detail orientation in research, writing, and documentation
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
