Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary). The incumbent will mainly be responsible for providing support for business development and project implementation in the areas of Skills Development, TVET and Livelihood. The role holder shall also be responsible for supporting the preparation of proposals and bids as needed to be submitted from time to time. Besides technical inputs, the incumbent will also support the implementation of projects, including project management. The role will include intermittent travel, national and international.

Key Performance Areas. Business Development and Project Implementation. Proactively engage in business development for skills development projects.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the skills development TVET, and livelihood development.

Lead proposal development. Provide project management/implementation support, as required. Technical Expertise and Leadership. Provide technical expertise for skills development programs, including supporting skill gap assessments and tracer studies. Offer strategic inputs to enhance program quality and alignment with best practices skill development. Guide the team in scaling up skills initiatives.

Policy and Program Knowledge. Maintain a strong understanding of relevant skills and livelihood policies, including government schemes and programs. Client and Stakeholder Engagement. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including governments and private firms.

Support work planning, monitoring, evaluation, and communication with stakeholders.

Work with other team members and in coordination with national, state and local government, non-governmental and multilateral/bilateral institutions to achieve project deliverables. Innovation and Knowledge Management. Introduce new methodologies or value-added changes to existing practices in skills development.

Contribute to knowledge management by documenting industry insights, creating case studies and publishing papers.

Track and report on project performance metrics, particularly those relevant to skills development. Branding and Positioning. Promote IPE Global through speaking engagements, technical publications, and involvement in industry forums.

Represent the organization at conferences and events, showcasing its expertise in education and skills development.

Qualification Experience. MBA/Masters in economics, Rural Development, Public Policy or in relevant subject. 4 to 8 years experience in the skills development sector, TVET, and Livelihood with a mix of consulting, and implementation background specially with Government Consulting.

Knowledge, Skills Competencies. Strong understanding of Skills Policy and Schemes/Programmes. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. A good team player with the ability to work on their own initiative. Capable of taking initiatives on their own with a minimum level of supervision. Excellent communication skills able to clearly communicate complex information verbally and in writing. Result-oriented approach to work. Open to working in multi-cultural environments and effectively in small and large teams.

Knowledge of designing and conducting skill gap assessments and tracer studies. Monitoring and analyzing project performance through a range of measures, internal and external and communicating this back to the management.
