Job Description
- Training Program Development & Management:
- Develop comprehensive RCM training programs for new hires and existing employees.
- Ensure training materials cover all aspects of RCM processes including but not limited to coding, billing, claims processing, collections, payment posting, and compliance.
- Create e-learning modules, video tutorials, and other training resources to enhance learning.
- Regularly update training content to reflect changes in industry regulations, software systems, and internal policies.
- Training Delivery:
- Deliver training sessions to new hires and ongoing training to current employees across all levels.
- Organize and schedule training sessions to ensure all team members are adequately trained.
- Conduct workshops, webinars, and hands-on training sessions for employees to reinforce key concepts.
- Provide one-on-one or group coaching sessions to address specific knowledge gaps or skill improvements.
- Employee Support & Development:
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on all RCM-related training content.
- Offer support to employees during and after training, answering questions and providing guidance.
- Assist team members in mastering RCM tools and technologies used within the organization.
- Evaluate employee performance in RCM processes and recommend additional training if necessary.
- Assessment & Evaluation:
- Design and implement effective assessment tools to measure training outcomes and knowledge retention.
- Collect feedback from trainees to continuously improve training materials and methods.
- Analyze performance metrics, identify gaps, and adapt training strategies to address deficiencies.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments to improve employee performance and productivity.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with RCM leadership, subject matter experts, and IT teams to stay current with process changes and software updates.
- Collaborate with HR and management to identify training needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure that all RCM training is compliant with relevant healthcare regulations and standards such as HIPAA, CMS, and insurance provider policies.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, employee progress, and certification achievements.
- Generate reports on training effectiveness and employee performance for management review.
- Provide regular updates on training initiatives, progress, and challenges to leadership teams.
