Junior Manager-Design

The incumbent shall be responsible for the design documentation and administration of multiple high-value projects, whilst
adhering to the corporate governance protocols, and help in constructing projects across Hyderabad s Aerotropolis. The incumbent
shall also be the responsible for converting the Management s vision into documentation and drawings, and communicate the
same with the internal & external stakeholders, with a high level of operational efficiency, quality consciousness and cost
consciousness. The incumbent must align with GMR s corporate processes while fulfilling these needs.

This position reports to General Manager Design

Design Administration
o Develop land parcels and create feasibility plans & sections for budgeting, create test fits, and prepare vision
statements for onboarding consultants
o Responsible for administration like raising purchase requests for consultants, team equipment, etc.
o Finalize of Concepts with management approvals, undertake Design Development and prepare Tender
documentation.
o Knowledge of building and fire codes, and other regulations
o Review design documentation of structure, MEP in line with architecture brief to ensure adherence with the
design intent
o Assist in preparing Mood Boards and plan onsite Mockups with alternate materials to take approvals from all
parties, as per lead time requirements, without affecting the schedule.
o Take up in-house drawing preparation/presentations/ sketchup models etc., as and when required to meet
Business needs

Interacting with government bodies like AAI, Fire Services,
Municipal Authorities, Pollution Control Boards, DUAC etc for
approvals and regulation controls.

Internal stakeholders like Master Planning, Connectivity, Land,
Security, Operations, IT etc for their requirements and inputs
related to planning of ALD projects.

Involved in the Design and execution of atleast one project worth ~INR 10-20 crores over the last 2-3 years

Exposure in coordinating with consultants / contractors / vendors / PMCs
o Should have worked in large teams, with capacity to manage all design tasks for the projects
o Exposure to corporate governance, bureaucracy and culture

B Arch required. A Masters in Architecture is an added advantage

4-6 years of experience with a Large Developer / Grade-A Contractor / Multidisciplinary Design Consultants / Program
Management Office, out of which any one of the below should be mandatory:
o Atleast 2 years of experience in inter-disciplinary design development of Industrial Buildings/Warehouses.
OR
o Atleast 2 years of experience in inter-disciplinary design development of Retail / Commercial / Hospitality buildings
