Associate Manager - MEP

JOB PURPOSE

Support in reviewing Designs, tendering with technical inputs, installation, Testing and commissioning of Mechanical systems like HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting Systems.

Responsible for Design and Implementation of Electrical / Mechanical systems works for Airport projects adhering to highest degree of safety & quality standards, within cost and time. To ensure operational readiness of Engineering services for Terminal Building for uninterrupted operation of facilities, ensuring optimized use of resources in a safe and cost effective manner.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators Design Management: Support & Coordinate and complete Electrical / Mechanical System designs from conceptual stage to detailed designs in coordination with user departments, consultants, Internal design team and other stake holders of the Project. Ensure zero non-compliance to Statutory requirements, complying stake holder requirements and project objectives. Procurement Management: Support & Coordinate and assist procurement team with Technical and Commercial inputs in tendering, vendor evaluation and finalization. In-time Procurement, finalization of contractor / Vendor. Project Quality, time and cost compliance Construction Management: Support & Coordinate and ensure implementation of Electrical works in compliance to Design/ requirements of the Project with minimal supervision. Completion within time & Quality meeting all project Statutory compliance, Project Objectives & Stakeholder satisfaction. Handing over and Contract Closure: Handover completed project to user departments with required documentation, Hand hold the operation team in initial period to stabilize the operation. Post operation stabilization; assist Procurement and Contracts team to close the all project related contracts. Complying with the project objectives & stabilization of system for maximum output as per the service levels. Contracts closure without major non conformances .

Compliance: Ensure for Health Safety environment and regulatory compliances - Assist and work with the management for the effective deployment of the safety policy and achievement of the safety objectives and targets /goals.

With competent technical staff and maintenance knowledge, Ensure
availability of Equipment s & systems for Terminal is as per SLAs.
SLA 99% for critical & 98 % SLA for non-critical equipment s
Safety and statutory compliance
With competent safety norms and procedures ensure the maintenance with negligible incidents. Ensuring statutory compliance with regular environmental checks and plant operation as per pollution control board

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interact with stake holders of the projects like CISF, Immigration, Customs, and Airlines etc., to understand their requirements and appraise them on the project objectives.

Interact with Statutory agencies like Local Fire Authority, Central Electrical Authority, State Electricity Authority, Pollution control board, Municipal corporations, Factory Inspectorates, etc., for approvals & certifications

Interact with external consultants, Vendors / contractors for smooth execution of the projects and understand the advances in technology and trends.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Internal - Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work

Interacts with user departments and stakeholders for efficient coordination of works

Interact with individual team members and cross functional teams and appraise them on the do s and don ts of the systems during operations and inspections.

Interact with Senior Management to appraise them with MIS and new technologies.

B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

10-12 years of experience with 8+ years of total experience in Project Management

Experience of building maintenance is desirable
