Finance Controller

JOB PURPOSE

Monitor and Supervise the finance and accounts of GNIAL organization including tax compliance, stake holder management, risk mitigation, maintaining accounting records as per Ind AS and GAAP as well as audit thereof.

Business Performance

Support Business Growth & Achieve targets (Revenue, EBIDTA & Dividend) as per approved AOP and endeavour to exceed set target

Account Closing & Audit

Ensure timely closing of Account books & statutory audit thereof without any adverse observation and qualification.

Receivable & Payable

Effective Management of Accounts Receivable & Payable with reduction in debtor turnover days & creditor turnover days as compared to previous year

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

External - Roles you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work Regular interaction with AAI & MoCA in regard to compliance of OMDA and providing various mandatory reports and information as required in OMDA and being asked from time to time

Regular Interaction with CAG and PAC of Govt. on various reports and replies thereof.

Regular interaction with Revenue Auditors, DF Auditors, CAG and External Auditors for addressing their issues and reply to their reports Regular interaction with Bankers in regard to loans repayment, interest issues etc. Regular interaction with Tax Departments for various tax related issues and replying to their queries

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Internal - Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work Regular Interaction with Airline Marketing & Non Aero Departments in regard to revenue billing, revenue assurance and debtors reconciliation Regular interaction with various departments for clearing of advances, submission of bills in regard to provisions, masers up-dation and other accounts related issues Regular Interaction with Internal Audit Department in regard to issues raised and resolution thereof Regular Interaction with Corporate Office in regard to various accounting issues raised by them during consolidation of financial results Regular interaction with Corporate MIS department on various issues related to expenditure, contracts etc.

• Annual Turnover Rs 125 Crore plus (Approx.)
• Assets Base of Rs. 1500 Crore plus (Approx.)
• Long Term and Short Terms Loans: Rs .. Crore ( Approx.)

• Team Size Of 7-8 People
• Dealing with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Dealing with Regulator, CAG and MoCA

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant
• Good understanding of SAP, Ind AS and Tax laws
• Effective communication and Analytical Ability

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience
• Have worked in SAP based accounting system
• Experience of fairly handling large team and dealing with govt. agencies
• Experience of working with Infrastructure and Service Industry
