- Our client is a global MNC manufacturing organization with its head office at Thane.

Job Description:

- Will report to the Head of Procurement and manage the purchase of A-class items, including steel.

- Manage steel procurement for the manufacturing unit.

- Handle imports and leverage import benefits.

- Procure outsourced products.

- Coordinate with the Factory Material Planning team.

- Collaborate with Business Units to develop outsourced products and services.

- Develop and onboard vendors for existing and new items/services.

- Enhance supplier quality.

- Lead internal projects focused on cost savings, vendor capacity building, and mitigating supply risks.

- Comply with QHSE standards.

- Operate and manage tasks using the ERP system.

Candidate Profile:

- Graduate in Mechanical/Production/Mechanical Engineering (Postgraduate in Management preferred).

- 10-15 years of experience in Purchase and Product & Vendor Development, ideally in the Engineering Industry.

- Strong knowledge of Production Purchase and Vendor Development.

- Excellent negotiation skills and experience with ERP systems.

- Proven analytical and logical skills with a successful track record in complex production and assembly environments.

- Proficient in ERP, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
