Key Responsibilities:
- Handling manufacturing and supplies through contract vendors. Ensuring Vendor management, production planning, New product development and sourcing of soft luggage /backpacks/ Duffle bags from vendor partners from Bangladesh and India.
- Establishing and driving the SOP's to be followed by vendor partners.
- Driving optimal cost of sourcing and driving cost efficiencies to meet cost reductions targets.
- Driving zero-tolerance to Quality standards of the company.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Marketing function, Design teams and Sales.
- Work with existing vendor partners to meet the business requirements.
- Keep exploring for new vendors for feasibility in manufacturing and developing them on capabilities and scale of operations to enhance capacities as per plans.
- Manage with the Vendor eco-system any design change with sample development production and ensuring/planning timelines in batch productions.
- Planning, Procurement, Coordination with vendors about supplies meeting requirements of markets and ensuring safety stock maintained at their end as per shared plans.
- Responsible for the sourcing budgeting and implementation as per the planned budgets.
- Responsible for meeting all the requirement regarding material as per the ISO and ISI standards.
- Implementing and monitoring effective procurement schedules in a team along with price negotiation & finalizing the purchase orders of Goods and establishing the quality & quantity limits for effective inventory control.
Key Result Areas:
- Continuous vendor development and managing third party manufacturers for supplies on target and as per expected timelines.
- Working on the cost structure in tandem with the design and marketing team. Achieving Cost reductions targets without compromise on quantity and quality.
- Production and supplies adherence to Quality standards of the company.

- Candidate should have a problem-solving approach. High solution orientation.
- Good crisis management skills and maturity, specially managing critical situations remotely with external partners.
- Candidate should be agile and ready to travel to manage external partners.
