Supply chain manager - Textile (Polyester Yarn)

Job Description:

- We are a US based company looking for Sourcing Manager in India. Experience in fiber production and sourcing from textile industry is a must.

Position Specifications:

- BTech Textile and MBA, relevant textile experience.

- Familiar with polyester filament and staple fiber production and sourcing process.

- 8-15 years of operating experience in chemical fiber manufacturing and sourcing area.

- Willing to travel frequently.

- Team spirit and highly self-motivated. Good work ethics and compliance record.

- Good computer, data, office software, ERP skills. Good communication ability in English.

Job Description:

- Work with 1-2 team members to build/manage products sourcing process. Annual review sourcing process and update it as business change.

- Manage all activities with suppliers. Like annual negotiation and supply agreement etc.

- Manage daily purchasing tasks, including ordering, production plan, OTD, cost and delivery.

- Finish goods inventory management. Need to balance the inventory and keep good communication with sales team and finance team.

- Material data treatment and analysis. Need to control good cost of material and consumption.

- New supplier development, have to take part in some of activities of new supplier development.

- Work with quality department and technical department to coordinate good production.

- Reports and others.
