Job Description

Overview:

As a Sales Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our sales team by providing leadership, guidance, and support to achieve sales targets and objectives. You will be responsible for managing a team of BD, fostering a culture of high performance, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue growth. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent sales acumen, and a passion for motivating and developing team members.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership: Set goals, metrics, and provide team guidance.
  2. Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor sales reps.
  3. Strategy Execution: Drive sales growth and market expansion.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Analyze pipeline and optimize processes.
  5. Client Relationships: Build and maintain key customer partnerships.
  6. Forecasting: Collaborate on revenue projections and resource allocation.
  7. Coaching: Offer regular feedback to improve performance.
  8. Training: Conduct product and sales technique training.
  9. Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends.
  10. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align efforts with marketing and product teams.
  11. Reporting: Present sales performance reports.
  12. Process Improvement: Enhance sales tools and efficiency.
  13. Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies and regulations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in sales leadership or management, preferably in a similar industry or market.

3. Strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and best practices.

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving common goals.

6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

7. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.


Preferred Qualifications:

u Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

u Professional certifications in sales management or leadership (e.g., CSE, CSL).

u Experience with inbound and outbound sales methodologies.

u Previous experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced sales environment.
