We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role you will be

Responsible for designing Solution Architecture for Complex Data warehouse ETL applications both on-prem and cloud preferably GCP.
Exposure to Grid technology for deployment of Datastage and knowledge of Datastage Parallel jobs is needed
Knowledge of Metadata Repositories like Collibra
Given the current team is highly technical in nature, expectations is that the candidate has hands on knowledge in technologies like Teradata, Datastage.
Previous experience of working on Data related initiatives is desirable
Determine the optimal approach for obtaining data from diverse systems and moving it to the BI.
Knowledge of Metadata Repositories like Collibra
Manage current and future needs of the data design and content.
Previous experience of business and solutions analysis, hands on experience of project initiation is essential
Knowledge of APIs will be an added advantage

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

At least 8 12 years experience in IT
Knowledge of: Data Warehouse technologies
ETL Technologies, Banking specific Data models like IBM Banking Data Warehouse Model
Data modelling and Data Architecture concepts
Cloud technologies and architecture
Infrastructure Design and concepts
This individual should be able to design robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions to drive business objectives using both on-prem and google cloud platform (GCP)
Build trusting relationships with business stakeholders by accurately documenting decisions, conversations and objections.
Consistently meeting and delivering upon the business needs; demonstrating and being respected for your domain knowledge.
Provide guidance to developers who are part of project.
Working with business owners to understand their needs and to implement the cloud strategies designed to meet those needs.
Conducting migration, where necessary, to bring tools and other elements into the cloud.
