Job Description

Must have an excellent knowledge and experience in Snowflake.

Must have knowledge of automation

Proficient in writing SQL queries is a must preferably against Oracle database)

Knowledge of Datastage or Teradata is a plus

Very good knowledge in Kimball Style Data dimensional model and data warehousing concepts -facts, dimensions, SCDs etc.

Good hands on experience Continuous delivery model and tools like Atlassian Suite and Jenkins.

Good Knowledge of ITIL process and be involved in investigations of incidents

Follow incident, problem and change management processes, and ensure that all are correctly registered.

Perform administrative operations in managed systems as requested by business or IT to maintain the systems

Be available for on-call rotation to work on any major incidents occurring outside normal working hours

Dislikes

Absolutely non-existent management. Lower level and middle level managers are clueless about employees reporting to them. Mindlessly rigid policies. Doesn’t value employees at all. HRs are too rude and non-responsive. Most importantly, LTIM has integrity issues, they are not honest with their own clients. To get the billing, they go to any extent even if they have to cheat the client.
