We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
Roles Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze service metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction, taking proactive measures to drive continuous improvem. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management regarding service performance, key metrics, and improvement initiatives. Ensure exceptional service quality by monitoring and maintaining service level agreements (SLAs). Act as the Technical Recovery Manager for crisis and critical issues. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls, including P1 standards.
  • Foster collaboration among security, IT, and development teams to ensure prompt and effective resolution of vulnerabilities. Conduct regular reviews of system capacity in alignment with customer traffic growth to effectively manage and optimize system performance. Identify opportunities to reduce run-the-bank (RTB) costs. Acts as the gatekeeper to the production environment, ensuring conformance to policies (e.g. Change Management) and operational processes/procedures, release integration testing and Production validation and participate in CAB meetings to discuss and approve these changes.
  • Develop and maintain the forward plan the release schedules and cycles across the organisation. Conduct Post-Implementation Reviews (PIR) and promote continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and maintain an incident response plan to quickly address and mitigate exploited vulnerabilities. Regularly review TRMF metal rating improvements to ensure service operations meet gold standards. Proactively collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to discuss non-functional requirements during the initial stages of projects.
  • Execute the ITSO Book of Work items. Ensure service resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met for all delivered software solutions.Participate in internal and external audits regarding service management and prepare responses accordingly. Regularly review IAM activity logs to ensure changes to live services are made through approved processes. Prepare and manage release schedules for service management tasks, including patching, BRETT, role swaps, and Comet.
  • Proactively identify and raise MSII risks related to service operations and track progress until resolution. Report on progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to committees, making recommendations to influence decision-making and maintain delivery progress and benefits realization. Contribute to strategic plans for the function, business, or region, shaping strategic objectives into actionable operational plans, such as resilience and SSP programs. Implement DevOps and automation on GCP in accordance with system requirements.
  • Establish a robust patch management process to ensure timely application of security patches and updates. Prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity, potential impact, and exploitability, focusing on critical issues first.Continuously monitor for new vulnerabilities and emerging threats to stay ahead of potential risks. Maintain detailed records of identified vulnerabilities, remediation actions, and security incidents, providing regular reports to stakeholders on the status of vulnerability management efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations. Actively contribute to a positive work environment by identifying opportunities to enhance team performance and translating required actions into a clear and realistic vision. Monitor complex dependencies and respond appropriately to ensure ongoing delivery aligned with customer goals. Demonstrate strong experience in managing geographically dispersed teams and leading individuals within a matrix organization.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships, think creatively to drive innovative solutions, multi-task effectively, and foster connections. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the service field, continuously seeking opportunities for knowledge and skills enhancement. Collaborate with other departments to adapt best practices within the service management function.
  • Accountable for all Dev Ops activity covering Trade Transformation Common Data Services. Own and manage the delivery of small change and production stability improvements for Common Data Services, including Level 3 team to investigate and delivery of production defects. Vulnerability Management, Vulnerability Assessment, Patch Management. Risk issue management. Manages tracking of risks/issues/ dependencies relating to production, environment and infrastructure, validating in coordination with the Program team. Takes ownership for critical issues and ensures resolution within agreed timescales.
  • Ownership of IT Service Owner (ITSO) activities including ITSO Book Of Work, Technical Resilience Management Framework (TRMF), EIM updates, Managing GITHUB repositories and Jenkins Deployment Pipelines, setup and manage Appdynamics for the monitoring of production services, ensuring robust and reliable service Driving improvement in overall quality of production service.
  • Strengthen stakeholder relationships. Uses relationship management skills/tools to responsibly influence decisions and stakeholder advocacy.Owner change delivery tasks, directing engineering and testing teams in the delivery of small change and resiliency projects
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Requirements/Key Skills:
  • Proven experience in payment systems with strong domain knowledge.In-depth understanding and experience in delivering the IT Service Acceptance process and Non-Functional Requirements for both Change the Bank and Run the Bank projects.Strong knowledge of server build processes, configuration management, service continuity, service monitoring and alerting, operational acceptance testing processes, enterprise information management, identity and access management (IDAM), and operational level agreements (OLAs).
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations, data visa processes, privacy impact assessments, and third-party risk management. Experience managing distributed environments that include Java, relational databases (Oracle and PostgreSQL), UNIX, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Sterling File Gateway, and Seeburger. Solid understanding of network security, operating systems, and common vulnerabilities.
  • Experience in managing patching activities, including software upgrades and security patches. - Proficiency in Confluence and JIRA for documentation and tracking purposes. Experience working within a DevOps team and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Seeburger Business Integration Server, Sterling Integrator, GIS, or Axway Integrator. Familiarity with industry standards for EDI, including SWIFT formats, XML, ANSI, and EDIFACT. Experience in Java and open-source technologies. - Proficient in Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Knowledge of monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and Datadog. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins. Previous experience as Dev Ops Lead and ITSO.
  • Experience in leading, coaching, developing and managing engineering delivery teams, co-ordinating and ensuring high quality delivery. Proactive and problem-solving attitude. Ability to co-ordinate delivery of services involving elements delivered by internal, external and third-party teams. Prior experience with Global Trade products would be beneficial. Hands-on experience in RestAPI , Spring Boot and Microservices architecture would be beneficial.
  • Excellent multitasking ability - Must have ability to track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities, and to drive results through partner organizations.Customer focus. Promotes and prioritise decisions or actions according to customer needs, leading others to do the same.
