Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Consultant with 5+ years of experience in consulting, solutioning, and implementation of Oracle ERP applications. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with end-to-end implementations of Oracle ERP for US-based clients, with expertise in multiple financial modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Project Costing, and Cost Management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Demonstrated deep knowledge of Oracle Financial processes/flows, including Business Events, Accounting Rules, Journal Entries, Project Costing, and Cost Management.
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business owners and stakeholders to capture and document business requirements.
- Involved in documenting fit/gap sessions, system configurations, and business solutions.
- Lead and facilitate CRP (Conference Room Pilot) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) sessions for General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules.
- Collaborate with clients to deliver functional design documents for customizations, interfaces, and reports.
- Provide ongoing support for business users, assisting in resolving Fusion Financial application-related issues, including those related to data quality and system performance.
- Write and review detailed test scripts for System Testing, Integration Testing, and UAT phases to ensure a thorough validation of the application.
- Engage with Oracle support for resolving functional issues by raising service requests and following through until resolution.
- Work closely with business units to develop best practices and optimized processes. Provide guidance in navigating Oracle ERP modules, utilizing forms personalization to enhance user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 End-to-End Implementations of Oracle ERP in a functional capacity.
- Strong experience with the Oracle Financial Suite (GL, AP, AR, Project Costing, Cost Management).
- Excellent communication skills with experience in client handling, stakeholder engagement, and team coordination.
- Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Financials and a solid understanding of related processes and configurations.
- Ability to create and document Functional Design documents for customizations and system enhancements.
- Experience with testing phases such as System Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Strong background in issue resolution and working with Oracle Support on service requests.
- Experience with Fusion Financials and other Oracle Cloud modules.
- Knowledge of best practices in financial processes within ERP systems.
- Ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic business needs.
