About the Role :
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Functional Consultant specializing in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess deep domain expertise in HCM processes, a proven track record of successful HCM Cloud implementations, and a strong understanding of the full hire-to-retire lifecycle. This role requires a consultative approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively translate business requirements into functional solutions within the Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud environment.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and contribute to all phases of Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud implementations, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Conduct detailed business process analysis and requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand their specific needs and translate them into functional specifications.
- Design and configure Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud modules based on best practices and client requirements, ensuring seamless integration with other modules.
- Develop and deliver functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and training materials.
- Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide support during the go-live and post implementation phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, providing timely and effective support to clients. Stay up-to date with the latest Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud updates, patches, and new functionalities.
- Collaborate effectively with technical consultants, developers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and proposal development.
- Identify and escalate project risks and issues to project management.
Required Skills and Experience :
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM applications, with a focus on Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud.
- Participation in at least 3 full lifecycle Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud implementations.
- Deep understanding of the hire-to-retire process and related business processes.
- Expert working knowledge in one or more of the following Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud modules : Absence Management Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) Benefits Compensation US Payroll Learning Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) and Core HR Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong client-facing skills and experience in managing client relationships.
- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud integration tools and technologies is a plus.
- Oracle HCM Cloud certifications are preferred. Experience with other cloud-based HCM solutions.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience in a consulting environment.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
