SAP Production Planning Consultant - Implementation & Support (6-11 yrs)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Planning Specialist with expertise in SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in master data setup within SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) and possess strong skills in Detailed Scheduling (DS). This role requires a professional with 6-10 years of experience in the field, who can efficiently manage and optimize production planning processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Utilize SAP APO to set up and manage master data for production planning.

- Execute detailed scheduling activities to ensure optimal production flow and resource utilization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production schedules with business objectives.

- Analyze production planning data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production scheduling and planning.

- Prepare and present reports on production planning metrics and KPIs to management.

- Stay updated on industry best practices and SAP advancements to continuously improve processes.

Mandatory Skills :

- Extensive hands-on experience with Detailed Scheduling in Production Planning using SAP APO.

- Proficient in master data setup and management within SAP APO.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have Skills :

- Experience in Quality Management processes and integration with production planning.

- Familiarity with other SAP modules and how they interact with production planning.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

- 6-10 years of relevant experience in production planning and scheduling.

- Certification in SAP Production Planning or related modules is a plus.
