Job Title : Senior Manager - SAP FICO.
Job Location : Kanpur (Preferred), but open for Gurugram as well.
Job Purpose :
The incumbent will Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling - Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement) for the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
- User Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to end-users on SAP Financial functionalities and support them in using the system effectively.
- Coach and mentor other team members.
- Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
- Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO modules.
- Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
- Integration and Upgrades : Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP Financial modules with other systems that includes PeopleSoft ERP and manage upgrades or enhancements.
- Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems.
- Document functional designs, test cases and results.
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
- Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
- Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
- Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.
Desired Skills and Experience :
- Any Graduate, B.Tech /B.E will be preferred.
- 8+ years' experience with SAP Finance & Controlling.
- Able to work independently / minimal supervision ranging from requirement gathering, functional design, configuration, testing and UAT.
- SAP Expertise : In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Financial modules such as SAP FI (Financial Accounting), SAP CO (Controlling), SAP FM (Fund Management), SAP PS (Project System).
- Leadership Skills : Ability to lead a team of technical and functional consultants, guide them in project tasks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshooting and Support : Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to SAP Financial modules, provide user support, and conduct system testing and validation.
- Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, present proposals, conduct training sessions, and create documentation.
- Deep understanding of Finance sub modules.
- High level understanding of controlling (Cost element accounting, cost centre accounting, Profit centre accounting, Product costing & Profitability analysis).
- Ability to do client facing roles, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Done at least 1 End to End Implementation.
- Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies.
- Provide support to analyse & fix issues, investigate, diagnose and resolve.
- Experience in FI integration points with other modules such as MM, PM, PP, SD, FM, PS.
- Experience in writing FS and customized program.
