SAP SCM/APO Demand Planning Consultant - E2E Implementation (10-15 yrs)

Experience : 10+ years in SAP SCM APO Demand Planning

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field

Job Purpose :

As a SAP SCM APO Demand Planning Consultant, you will be responsible for advising, leading, and optimizing supply chain processes through SAP SCM APO Demand Planning solutions. This role requires deep expertise in demand forecasting, statistical analysis, and end-to-end SAP implementations. You will collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders, providing strategic solutions that impact business efficiency and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Act as an SME with deep knowledge and experience in SAP SCM APO Demand Planning.

- Provide influencing and advisory support for key strategic decisions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Design and implement SAP SCM APO Demand Planning solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency.

- Perform data analysis and demand forecasting to optimize inventory and planning.

- Develop and maintain system configurations, processes, and documentation.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP SCM APO and supply chain management.

- Conduct training sessions for end-users and internal teams.

- Identify and mitigate risks in SAP implementations, ensuring smooth project execution.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.

Skills & Qualifications Required :

- Expert-level proficiency in SAP SCM APO Demand Planning.

- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.

- Proven experience in SAP SCM APO Demand Planning implementations & configurations.

- Knowledge of demand forecasting methodologies and statistical analysis techniques.

- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

- Experience integrating SAP SCM APO Demand Planning with other SAP modules.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience in Program Project Management and Sales Pursuit Management (preferred).
