Integration Management Office Financial Analyst - GGB Americas.
Job Title: IMO Financial Analyst.
Reporting To: Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), GGB-Americas.
Location: PAN India.
Position Overview:
The Integration Management Office (IMO) Financial Analyst will work to ensure the successful financial integration of newly acquired entities post-close. The IMO Financial Analyst will be responsible for tracking integration costs, flagging key financial integration risks, handle operational finance accountabilities, and support integration leaders in navigating change (e.g. tracking resourcing and ensuring that financial objectives are met during the integration process). Candidates best suited for this role have a strong financial background, are detail oriented, and can work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders. The individual needs to possess sound understating of the Insurance Broking/Carrier business.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Tracking and Reporting:.
- Monitor and track all integration-related costs and expenditures in accordance with pro-forma targets.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial reports and dashboards to provide visibility into integration costs.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance against integration budgets.
Risk Management:.
- Identify and flag key financial integration risks.
- Support leadership in developing and analyzing risk mitigation strategies and work with cross-functional teams to implement them.
- Monitor and report on the status of financial risks throughout the integration process.
Change Management:.
- Assist in navigating financial changes resulting from the integration.
- Work closely with the integration team to ensure smooth financial transitions.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making during the integration process.
Resource Tracking:.
- Track resourcing needs for the integration.
- Translate data into work products that depict how financial resources are allocated.
- Monitor resource utilization and provide regular updates to the integration management team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in an integration environment.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, PlanView).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
