Job Title: Head of Sales & Operations

About us:

Hi Tours is expanding its Outbound Division and is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and visionary leader to take charge as the Head of Sales & Operations and grow the division exponentially. This pivotal role will oversee the strategic direction, sales growth, and seamless execution of international holiday packages. Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to achieve sales targets and operational excellence for the outbound travel business.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales and operations teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Identify growth opportunities, emerging markets, and new destinations to expand Hi Tours international offerings.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set annual goals, budgets, and KPIs.

Sales Management

  • Drive the development of innovative sales strategies to capture B2C clients interested in international travel packages.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key partners, suppliers, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and offerings.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of tailored travel solutions to meet the diverse needs of customers.
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets are met or exceeded.

Operations & Itinerary Planning

  • Ensure flawless execution of customized itineraries, including flights, accommodations, visas, and other travel arrangements.
  • Optimize operational workflows and booking processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Handle escalations and provide solutions for operational or customer service challenges.

Market Insights & Innovation

  • Stay informed about global travel trends, emerging destinations, and industry innovations.
  • Develop strategies to promote premium packages, travel insurance, and value-added services.
  • Use customer feedback to refine offerings and improve overall service delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10-15 years in the travel industry, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
    • Proven experience in selling international holiday packages and managing operations.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship abilities.
  • Deep knowledge of international destinations, travel logistics, and trends.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
