Position Overview:
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales and Marketing to lead our business growth efforts in the Masterbatches, Chemicals, and Polymers sector.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering, polymers, and a proven track record of managing sales and marketing strategies in both domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market share in masterbatches, chemicals, and polymers.
- Identify opportunities in both domestic and international markets, creating tailored strategies for each region.
Market Expansion:
- Lead market research initiatives to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, distributors, and customers in targeted regions.
Team Management:
- Oversee and mentor the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Set performance metrics and provide regular feedback to drive team productivity and success.
Operational Excellence:
- Utilize SAP or similar ERP systems to streamline sales and marketing operations.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting of sales performance.
Product Expertise and Customer Engagement:
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of polymers, chemicals, and masterbatches to offer technical insights and solutions to customers.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Graduate / Post-Graduate (B.Sc.,/M.Sc./M.Tech.) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is mandatory.
- MBA or PGDM is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 17-24 years of experience in sales and marketing within the chemicals, masterbatches, or polymers industry.
- Proven track record of success in managing domestic and international markets.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
- Expertise in the technical aspects of polymers, chemicals, and their applications.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and data.
