- We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager with 10 years of experience to oversee and manage all onground activities, vendor relations, compliance requirements (labour & tax), and financial coordination.
- The Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by collaborating closely with the external local finance, compliance and pay-roll teams to manage payroll, taxes, and legal obligations.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and has a strong understanding of operational and financial processes.
- Collaboration with external finance, compliance and tax teams entails amongst others timely processing of payroll.
- Track and monitor expenses and vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Validate the tax calculations performed by the tax team to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Ensure all tax payments are processed and filed accurately and on time in coordination with the finance team.
- Work with different teams to oversee compliance with local tax regulations and labor laws and ensuring that all necessary documentation and filings are in place.
- Work closely with the compliance team to ensure that labor law requirements are adhered to.
- Coordinate with the payroll team to ensure all necessary inputs, such as attendance, leaves, and salary data, are supplied on time for payroll processing.
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time in collaboration with HR and finance teams.
- Manage payroll-related issues and queries from employees and escalate any concerns as needed.
Operational responsibilities.
- Oversee daily operational activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the ground.
- Ensure that operational objectives are met in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Identify areas of inefficiency and develop processes or improvements to optimize workflows.
- Regularly review operational policies and procedures to ensure they are in line with business needs and compliance requirements.
- Assist and support the management and in running a smooth operation by ensuring that all operational functions align with business objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the management for optimizing workflows and improving on-ground operations.
- Ensure that all office rules and regulations are followed by staff and vendors, creating a professional and compliant work environment.
- Manage all vendor relations, set up and maintaining contract management.
- Regularly review vendor contracts and ensure that services provided meet the company's expectations and compliance standards.
- Assist in forecasting and budget planning by providing regular updates on operational expenses in monthly contact with country manager and CFO
