Head of R&D:
- We are seeking an experienced and innovative very senior level person in R&D to lead our client's research and development efforts in Non Combustible chemicals.

- The role focuses on enhancing our portfolio of non combustible chemicals , improving product quality, and addressing customer needs with sustainable, high-performance solutions.
- The Head of R&D will define and execute the R&D strategy, aligning it with the companys business goals and market demands.
- They will oversee all research activities, from conceptualization to commercialization, ensuring innovations meet safety standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- The role demands expertise in polymer science, and advanced material chemistry to develop new products and optimize existing formulations for applications across industries such as construction, automotive, textiles, and electronics.
- This leader will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining rigorous quality control protocols throughout the product lifecycle.
- They will ensure that all products adhere to strict quality standards, addressing and resolving any technical challenges or customer complaints through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Their work will focus on ensuring reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, with an emphasis on sustainability and regulatory compliance with frameworks such as RoHS and REACH.
- A significant part of the role involves cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, production, and external partners such as suppliers and research institutions.
- The General Manager will play a key role in translating market needs into technical solutions, scaling up laboratory innovations to full production, and representing the company at technical forums, industry events, and trade shows.
- Their ability to build and foster relationships within and outside the organization will be critical for success.
- Leadership and team development are core components of the role.
- He / She will lead a team of Chemists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- They will mentor and train team members, setting clear objectives and ensuring the team remains at the forefront of industry advancements.
- The ideal candidate will hold a Masters or Ph.D in Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science, with over 20 years of experience in R&D, including at least 10 years in a leadership role focused on Non Combustible chemicals.
- They should have a proven track record of developing and commercializing innovative fire retardant solutions, alongside expertise in analytical techniques such as TGA, DSC, FTIR, and flammability testing.
- Exceptional project management, analytical, and communication skills are essential for this position.
