Head - Finance & Accounting - Manufacturing Business (15-20 yrs)

- He / She is a vital member of the leadership team, holding a critical position in managing the organization's financial operations.

- This role requires expertise in strategic fiscal planning and analysis, profit and loss oversight, financial projections, budgeting, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.

- In this capacity, the Finance Head will spearhead long-term financial planning and align financial tactics with organizational goals.

- They will evaluate financial performance, compile comprehensive reports and forecasts, and deliver insights to the board of directors.

- This role demands a strong emphasis on risk assessment.

- He / She will identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial vulnerabilities through robust internal control frameworks.

- Efficient cash flow and foreign exchange management practices are paramount.

- Leading and mentoring the finance team is a cornerstone of the role, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous enhancement while offering strategic advice to the CEO and the board.

- Mastery in capital flow optimization and experience in mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances are highly desirable.

- Additionally, He/She will supervise accounting and financial processes, including planning, forecasting, tax compliance, and ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.

- He / She will also assess and implement investment prospects while fostering relationships with banks and financial institutions.

- Cost management strategies must be devised, refined, and updated to adapt to evolving market dynamics, ensuring the organization retains its competitive edge.

- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP or Similar, is crucial, as he /she will oversee IT infrastructure administration and enhance system performance.

- The ideal candidate will possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) or ICWA or MBA qualification, with at least 15 years of experience in finance, including a minimum of 8 years in a senior financial leadership capacity.

- A demonstrable record of success in the specialty manufacturing sector, especially in areas such as Chemicals , Paints , Oil & gas is preferred.
