Role Overview:
- We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Management Resource in Finance to join our esteemed family office.
- This individual having strong background in working with traditional Indian company setups . Will play a critical role in bringing a deep understanding of financial planning, compliance, and long-term wealth preservation. Also managing, optimizing, and strategizing the family office's financial operations and investments while ensuring robust compliance and legal adherence.
- The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with an advanced degree in Finance (e.g., CFA, MBA in Finance) and a strong understanding of legal frameworks impacting financial operations.
- This role demands a hands-on approach to managing financial activities, investment portfolios, and ensuring optimal resource utilization in alignment with the organization's goals and values
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Planning:
- Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational and family office objectives.
- Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation for both operational and investment purposes.
Accounting , Risk & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings.
- Maintain compliance with Indian tax laws, corporate governance, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage audits, both internal and statutory, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Investment Management:
- Develop and monitor investment portfolios for wealth preservation and growth.
- Assess and manage risks related to investments, ensuring alignment with the family's risk appetite and goals.
- Evaluate potential investment opportunities in line with market trends and organizational values.
Family Office Goevrnance:
- Manage family assets, trust structures, and estate planning activities.
- Collaborate with legal and advisory teams for seamless management of family wealth and succession planning.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and treasury functions.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency and transparency.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a trusted advisor to family members and senior leadership, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and external advisors to facilitate smooth operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification. MBA in Finance is a plus.
- 12-15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including working with family offices and traditional Indian businesses.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, tax structuring, investment management, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of Indian regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and mentor finance professionals.
- Additional legal qualifications (LLB or similar) would be a strong advantage.
