JOB DESCRIPTION:
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making at the executive level.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis and present key insights to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and manage financial risks to protect the company's interests.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with risk management policies.
Treasury Management:
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs and strategic objectives.
- Optimize capital structure and oversee investment activities.
- Maintain relationships with financial institutions.
Cost Control and Operational Efficiency:
- Work closely with operational teams to monitor and control costs.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Financial Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international financial regulations.
- Coordinate with legal and regulatory bodies to address compliance issues.
- Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment.
Financial Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop finance team members to enhance their skills and contribute to the company's success.
Investor Relations:
- Serve as a key point of contact for investors and analysts.
- Communicate the company's financial performance and strategy to external stakeholders.
- Participate in investor calls, roadshows, and conferences.
Strategic Financial Planning:
- Collaborate with the executive team in the development and execution of strategic plans.
- Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or other strategic partnerships from a financial perspective.
Performance Metrics and KPIs:
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial performance.
- Regularly report on financial metrics, variance analysis, and trends.
