Responsibilities & Qualifications:

We are seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer with strong Java programming skills to support a 24x7 mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate must have expertise in Omniflow, along with experience in SQL, ticketing tools, and incident management. This role requires a proactive individual who can quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring system stability and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 production support in a 24x7 environment, ensuring high system availability.
• Monitor application performance and resolve issues in real-time to minimize business impact.
• Work with ticketing tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, Remedy) to log, track, and resolve incidents.
• Develop and debug Java-based applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Optimize SQL queries and ensure database efficiency.
• Support and maintain Omniflow applications, ensuring seamless process execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and DevOps, to enhance system reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotations and be available for urgent incident resolution.
• Document solutions, SOPs, and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in Production Support.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java programming (must-have).
• Mandatory experience with Omniflow.
• Proficiency in SQL for debugging, troubleshooting, and query optimization.
• Experience with ticketing tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, or Remedy.
• Prior exposure to incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, 24x7 environment with rotational shifts.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in Toscana (preferred but not mandatory).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of scripting (Python, Shell, or PowerShell) for automation.
• Familiarity with log analysis and monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.).
• ITIL certification (preferred but not mandatory).
