Inside Sales Lead (Selling IT Services and solutions)


Targeting the Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance Industry

Position Overview:
We seek a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales Manager to join our team, specializing in selling to the Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance industries. The ideal candidate will drive demand generation, nurture opportunities across channels, collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve growth targets, and measure performance and outcomes. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, integrated campaign mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Demand Generation & Opportunity Facilitation:
    • Drive new opportunities through strategic demand generation efforts.
    • Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns and nurture leads through integrated campaigns. Use relevant outreach channels optimally: Email, Voice, LinkedIn, Events (pre event recruitment, appointment setting and post event follow ups), Nurture leads generated from Marketing campaigns to create interest and set up discovery meetings, Intent data to engage and nurture target audience.
    • Set up 4+ meetings per month with C-level and senior executives in target accounts.
  2. Account Research & Insights:
    • Conduct detailed market assessments, account analysis, and competitive intelligence to uncover growth opportunities.
    • Provide insights into key accounts, industry challenges, differentiators, and trends to support sales efforts.
    • Collaborate with internal research teams to gather data and generate actionable insights into client CXOs, markets, and competition.
  3. Sales Enablement & Collaboration:
    • Partner with sales, solutions, and marketing teams to develop account-specific messaging, scripts, and value propositions.
    • Drive lead management governance, including regular deal and pipeline reviews.
    • Work closely with Unit Marketing to support vertical and account-specific initiatives for sustained growth.
  4. Campaign Execution & Performance Management:
    • Generate incremental pipeline and drive new sales
    • Track, measure, and report on campaign performance, providing insights to improve outcomes.
    • Ensure adherence to sales targets and continuously optimize strategies for maximum impact.
  5. Strategic Partner & Growth Enabler:
    • Identify new growth areas by understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
    • Foster relationships with key stakeholders to align sales strategies with broader business goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Graduate/PG/MBA in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in IT services for Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance clients in North America (US and Canada).
    • Proven track record in appointment setting with C-level and senior executives.
    • Experience working night shifts (US time zones) in global sales environments.
  • Skills:
    • Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Eloqua) and marketing automation platforms.
    • Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
