Job Description

Detailed Description:

Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and internal costs to develop and implement pricing strategies for BPO services, including creating pricing models, negotiating rates with clients, and ensuring profitable contracts by optimizing pricing across various service offerings; often collaborating closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to achieve revenue goals.

Minimum Experience


10-15 years overall work experience with 5+ years experience in pricing for DPO or BPO companies

Minimum Qualification


CA / MBA finance


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Pricing analysis: Conducting in-depth research on market conditions, competitor pricing, and client needs to determine optimal pricing strategies.
  • Cost modeling: Building detailed cost models to accurately calculate the cost of delivering BPO services, considering factors like labor, infrastructure, and overhead.
  • Proposal development: Creating pricing proposals for new clients, including detailed pricing structures, service level agreements (SLAs), and contract terms.
  • Negotiation:
  • Negotiating pricing with potential clients, balancing profitability with market competitiveness.
  • Pricing optimization: Regularly reviewing existing client contracts and identifying opportunities to adjust pricing based on performance metrics and changing market dynamics.
  • Financial reporting: Tracking and analyzing pricing performance, providing insights to management on revenue trends and profitability.
  • Stakeholder management: Collaborating with sales teams, operations managers, and legal teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and contract terms.

Skill set

Necessary Skills


  • Strong understanding of commercial and financial principles, including cost analysis, profit and loss (P&L) statements, and budgeting for BPO industry
  • Expertise in developing and utilizing various pricing models, such as per transaction, per Resource Unit, volume-based, or time-based
  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools to extract insights from pricing data and inform decision-making
