Orangerstar Logistics - Head - Pricing - Freight Forwarding (8-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:.

Pricing Strategy and Analysis:.

- Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies for all freight forwarding services (air, sea, road, and rail).

- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.

- Monitor and evaluate pricing performance against targets and adjust strategies accordingly.

Leadership and Team Management:.

- Lead, mentor, and manage the pricing team to ensure high performance and alignment with organizational goals.

- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement within the team.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:.

- Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to align pricing with business goals and client requirements.

- Engage with suppliers and partners to negotiate competitive rates.

- Ensure pricing decisions are communicated effectively across departments.

Data and Systems Management:.

- Leverage data analytics tools to optimize pricing strategies and improve decision-making.

- Implement and manage pricing systems and software to streamline processes.

Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:.

- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and local laws.

- Identify and mitigate pricing-related risks in contracts and agreements.

Qualifications and Skills:.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in freight forwarding, with at least 3 years in a leadership pricing role.

- Strong knowledge of global logistics and supply chain operations.

- Proficiency in pricing analytics and market research.
