Role & responsibilities

Suitability Interviews -

• Conduct one-on-one interviews and consultations with potential students to gather information about their academic background, interests, goals, and motivations for pursuing further education with our partnered university, and research about the course and the university the student has applied for.
• Evaluate the qualifications of applied candidates by reviewing their application materials, academic records, and interview responses. Assess their potential for success within the chosen educational programs.

• Record Keeping -
• Update interview notes, evaluations, and other relevant data accurately in internal trackers. Ensure confidentiality and GDPR throughout the process.

• Stake Holder Collaboration -

• Coordinate with the admissions team to align interview evaluations with the overall admissions process

Collaborate with team members/line managers to provide feedback and recommendations for candidates interviewed. Assisting the Team Leader in day-to-day activities and supporting the team where the need arises on the USA student credibility interview processes. Striving for operational excellence as well as supporting management in driving changes to the process.

US Visa application processing -

• Provide in-depth counselling to students on various aspects,

in-depth knowledge of the US visa application process, including requirements, timelines, and procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-5 Years of experience within US immigration setting/department (i.e. embassy, processing/receiving visa applications)
• 7+ years of overall experience
• Experience in conducting client interviews (in any field) would be beneficial (Desired)
• Proficient knowledge of different visa categories (F-1, J-1, etc.) and their specific requirements.

Strong understanding of US immigration laws and regulations
