Manager / Senior Manager - Electrical

GIFTCL invites application for the position of Manager / Senior Manager - Electrical. This is a contractual position for a period of 5 years. The remuneration will be commensurate with qualification and experience.

The candidate should have done B. tech/ B.E. in Electrical Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience in construction of electrical substation and SCADA. Detailed job description is as under,

Candidate shall be responsible for designing and execution of Electrical substation and electrical SCADA system required to do following activities-

• Conceptual designs and execution plans.
• Engineering/project cost estimates and schedules.
• Electrical equipment pre-commissioning testes and overall quality supervision.
• Distribution network planning and its execution.
• Equipment specifications for procurement and/or factory acceptance testing.
• Coordination of design activities with other engineering departments (Civil/Structural, Substation, etc.).
• Develop and improve processes, tools and/or technology implementations.
• Execution of backup power system using diesel generator sets, exhaust system, etc.
• Provide leadership, training and mentoring to less experienced engineers and team members.
• Perform quality reviews for other engineers and designers.
• Other areas of involvement may include relay settings, network device settings, RTU settings, logic diagram.

Competencies Required :

• Electrical substation, design, SCADA, IEC 61850, substation automation, SAP, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, ETAP, PRP, Electrical protection relay, Digsi, siprotech relay, etc.
