Project Engineer- RTU Commissioning

RTU Configuration Integration:

• Configure Schneider RTUs for industrial applications, such as power distribution, oil gas, and water management.
• Integrate Schneider RTUs with Clear SCADA for real-time data collection, monitoring, and control of field assets.
• Ensure smooth communication between RTUs and the Clear SCADA system using industrial protocols like Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 61850.

Clear SCADA Integration:

• Develop and configure Clear SCADA system to interface with Schneider RTUs for automated monitoring and control.
• Create SCADA tags, set up alarms, and configure data points based on RTU inputs.
• Troubleshoot and optimize SCADA-RTU communication to ensure real-time data acquisition and system performance.

Testing and Validation:

• Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for Schneider RTU systems.
• Validate the RTU configurations, ensuring alignment with Clear SCADA system requirements and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot any issues identified during testing phases and propose corrective actions.

RTU Installation Commissioning:

• Plan and manage on-site installation, commissioning, and configuration of Schneider RTUs.
• Conduct field tests and performance checks to ensure the successful integration of RTUs into Clear SCADA.
• Provide technical support and supervision to field teams during RTU installation and commissioning.

Communication Protocols Networking:

• Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850) to ensure reliable data transfer between RTUs and Clear SCADA.
• Design network configurations for RTU systems using TCP/IP, serial communication, and wireless technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve communication and networking issues within the RTU-SCADA system.

Documentation Compliance:

• Create and maintain technical documentation related to RTU configuration, network design, and SCADA integration.
• Ensure all RTU and SCADA deployments comply with Schneider Electric standards, as well as industry regulations and safety standards.
• Document test results, system logs, and troubleshooting efforts for future reference.

Client Support Training:

• Provide ongoing technical support to clients for Schneider RTU and Clear SCADA systems, including remote and on-site troubleshooting.
• Train client personnel on the operation and maintenance of Schneider RTUs and Clear SCADA systems.
• Develop user manuals and technical guides to assist clients with system operations.

System Upgrades Maintenance:

1. Perform upgrades and preventive maintenance on Schneider RTU systems to enhance performance and extend lifecycle.
2. Work on expanding existing SCADA systems by adding new RTUs or updating Clear SCADA software.
3. Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact system performance.
