This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and adaptability to craft engaging content that captivates a trend-savvy audience. The Social Media Head will report directly to the VP Marketing, lead a team of 4-5 professionals, and collaborate with the Creative Head and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Content Creation
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to wedding industry trends and audience behaviors.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, visually compelling content across platforms including Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Collaborate with the Creative Head to align social media content with the broader branding strategy.
2. Audience Engagement
- Build and nurture an active online community by managing interactions, fostering discussions, and responding promptly to audience inquiries.
- Leverage audience insights and analytics to create targeted, trend-driven content that drives engagement.
3. Performance Analysis
- Track key social media metrics, including engagement rates, follower growth, and campaign performance.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize strategies and achieve business objectives.
4. Collaboration & Partnerships
- Work closely with designers, photographers, and influencers to create on-brand content that aligns with company goals.
- Partner with the Creative Head and marketing teams to ensure consistency across all brand communications.
5. Trend Adaptation
- Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep the brand competitive and relevant.
- Introduce innovative ideas and concepts that resonate with a trend-conscious audience in the wedding space.
6. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and inspire a team of 4-5 professionals, fostering innovation and growth.
- Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to elevate the team's creative output.
- Drive collaboration within the team and across departments to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing social media for dynamic brands (experience in fashion, lifestyle, or startups is preferred).
- Expertise in social media platforms, tools like Meta Suite and Google Analytics, and content strategies.
- Exceptional visual storytelling and copywriting skills.
- A strong understanding of branding, with a knack for creating content that connects with a diverse audience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment with a passion for weddings and aesthetic innovation.
