Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced Testers with expertise in DXC Advantage to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for testing software solutions within the DXC environment, ensuring that they meet the required quality standards and client expectations. The role involves performing functional, regression, and system testing across various projects while collaborating with development teams to identify issues, document defects, and ensure the successful deployment of quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, regression, and system testing for applications developed on the DXC Advantage platform.
• Analyze requirements, design test cases, and develop test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage of system functionality.
• Execute test scripts and document defects, issues, and risks, ensuring clear communication of findings to the development team.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure that testing aligns with business goals.
• Participate in test execution cycles, including planning, tracking, and reporting test results.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements based on test results and defect trends.
• Verify the resolution of defects and ensure that reworked functionalities meet the expected standards.
• Ensure the quality and functionality of applications by identifying, tracking, and resolving issues.
• Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Assist in preparing test reports and providing regular updates on test progress to stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• 5-6 years of experience as a Tester, with strong expertise in the DXC Advantage platform.
• Experience in performing functional, regression, and system testing in a complex environment.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
• Ability to write and execute test cases, document defects, and track them to resolution.
• Experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Center) and test management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Self-disciplined and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
