Platform Tester

Optymoney is seeking a Platform Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Platform Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial technology platform. You will work closely with our development and product teams to identify, report, and help resolve issues in our software products.

Key Responsibilities :
Test Planning: Collaborate with the product and development teams to create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and user stories.
Test Execution: Perform manual testing of Optymoneys web and mobile applications to identify defects, bugs, and inconsistencies in functionality, user interface, and user experience.
Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Exploratory Testing: Creatively explore the platform to uncover hidden issues and usability concerns
Documentation: Document test results, defects, and test case execution in a clear and organized manner.
Bug Reporting: Report and track defects using bug tracking tools and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the refinement of testing methodologies and best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to maintain a high level of product quality.
Automation: Collaborate with the automation testing team to identify test cases that can be automated and provide input for automated test script development.
Test Environment Management: Ensure the availability and readiness of test environments required for testing.

Qualifications :
Proven experience as a software tester, preferably in the fintech industry.
Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Familiarity with manual testing tools and bug tracking systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with test automation tools is a plus.
Knowledge of financial products and services is a plus.
