Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist with 5–10 years of expertise in IT/Analytics to lead data-driven initiatives, analyze complex datasets, and build predictive models that drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in Python, R, SQL, Machine Learning, Data Visualization, and Statistics. In this role, you will mentor junior team members, drive innovation, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Strategy & Leadership:
• Define and lead data science strategies to address complex business challenges.
• Guide cross-functional teams on best practices in data analysis and modeling.
2. Advanced Analytics & Modeling:
• Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning and statistical models.
• Evaluate and improve models for scalability, performance, and business impact.
3. Data Management & Governance:
• Oversee the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of large datasets.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
4. Visualization & Communication:
• Create advanced dashboards and visualizations to present insights effectively.
• Communicate complex findings to stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.
5. Mentorship & Team Development:
• Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, fostering skill development.
• Share knowledge of emerging technologies and techniques within the team.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Partner with business leaders to identify data-driven opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into actionable data science solutions.

Key Skills:

• Expert-level proficiency in Python and R for advanced analytics and machine learning.
• Extensive experience with SQL for managing and querying large-scale datasets.
• Deep understanding of Machine Learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Advanced expertise in Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Strong foundation in Statistics, Probability, and hypothesis testing.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is preferred

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields.
• Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
