Linux Administrator (8-12 yrs)

Urgent hiring for Linux Admin role.

Exp : 8 to 12 Yrs.

Location : Pune (Hybrid).

Notice period Immediate to 30 days only.

The Role :

- Proven work experience as Linux Administrator

- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (i.e., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and associated utilities.

- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

- Familiarity with security best practices, system hardening and patching.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with automation tools (i.e. Salt, Ansible)Experience of virtualization technologies (i.e., VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms AWS.

- Able to manage 500+ VMs.

- Experience in Disaster Recovery management

- Experience in driving continuous improvement for repetitive issue.

Requirements :

Must Have Skills :

- Troubleshooting issues on Linux environment, Network.

- Linux Admin Authentication, Reverse Proxy, DNS, Mailing Network Routage & Segmentation, Different protocol.

- Virtualization VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes.

- Security.

- OpenSSl, fail2ban, OpenPGP.

- Firewall.

- Patching / Hardening.

- Monitoring Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk.

- Tools GIT, Jenkins, Bitbucket / Gitlab.

- Configuration management tool : Saltstack (prefered) or an equivalent tool like Ansible, puppet or chef.

- IaaS Cloud formation or another equivalent like Terraform, Packer.
