TecQubes Technologies - L3 Linux Administrator (10-15 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking experienced and highly skilled L3 Linux Admin to join our team in Bangalore.

This is a rotational shift position with a focus on providing high-quality technical support and system administration services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administration of various Linux distributions (RedHat, Oracle Linux, SuSE, Ubuntu, etc.

- User administration, including user creation, group management, and access control.

- LVM management for efficient disk space utilization and data management.

- Configuration and management of system services such as CUPS, DNS, NFS, and Mail Services.

- Performance monitoring and tuning, including log analysis and performance optimization.

- Vulnerability remediation and security hardening of Linux servers.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python for routine tasks and system maintenance.

- Participate in migration projects from on-premises to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.

- Administration of PCS and CRM clusters on Linux platforms.

- Provide technical support for applications running on Linux servers.

Qualifications : Experience : 10+ years of experience in Linux system administration.

Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with various Linux distributions (RedHat, Oracle Linux, SuSE, Ubuntu).

- Expertise in system administration tasks, including user management, file system management, and security hardening.

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python.

- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

Other Skills :

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to work in a rotational shift environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

- Linux certifications (e.g, RHCSA, RHCE)
