Job Description
- Manage the production of corporate events, including conferences, meetings, and social gatherings.
- Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure contracts and services.
- Negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service delivery.
- Oversee the setup, execution, and teardown phases of events.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during events.
- Work with creative teams to design event concepts and branding.
- Monitor event budgets and track expenses to prevent overspending.
- Assist in the selection of speakers, entertainers, and facilitators.
- Manage event registration and customer service for attendees.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement.
- Foster relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners for event success.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to event production.
- Train and supervise event staff and volunteers.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and increase attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in event production or management.
- Proven experience managing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Strong portfolio of successfully executed events.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Experience with project management software and event technology.
- Understanding of AV production and technical requirements for events.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as needed for events.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies related to events.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software applications.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of current event trends and best practices.
