Events Manager

Role & responsibilities

Events, Branding & Promotions

• Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts.
• Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery.
• Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet expectations.
• Travelling to on-site inspections and project managing events
• Obtaining permits.
• Handling invoicing
• Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
• Managing operational and administrative functions including stock check to ensure specific projects are delivered carefully and will be liable for all direct and indirect loses.
• Managing supplier relationships, logistics and negotiations
• Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish.
• Managing branding and communication.
• Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery

Team Management

• Providing leadership, motivation, direction / training and support to your team
• Developing event feedback surveys including Team Members

Reporting

• Updating Reporting Manager and senior management.
• Handling post-event reports and Timely Submission of Every Event Report along with Expenses and Returns

Lead Generation

• Reaching out to new Event Organizers
• Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships
• Negotiating sponsorship deals.

Top Line Achievement

• Monthly/Qtrly/Yearly Results (Volume & Value)
• Target Attainment

Bottom Line Achievement

• Supporting the manager and other colleagues. monitoring competitor activity

Cost control Initiative

• Financial Discipline - Credit, Policy adherence
• Local Budgets implementation

Support

• Part of the Role Includes providing support to other divisional team (if any) or strengthening to the connected process
