Role & responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure artwork meets FSSAI and PCR standards for food licenses.
• Sensory Evaluation: Conduct tasting sessions (non-smoker preferred) to assess product quality.
• Complaint Handling: Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
• Shelf-life Evaluation: Analyze samples to determine the shelf-life of flavors / Tea / Premixes which are sent from Plant.
• Flavour & Product Analysis: Conduct comparative analysis across batches, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Analytical Method Validation: Validate methods using appropriate instruments per product requirements.Factory Collaboration: Assist our teams at Baroda and Sanjan plants in achieving product profiles for intermediate products.
• Plant Visits: Willingness to travel to various units (3-4 days/month) as required.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-5 years in Product Development within the Food & Beverage sector, Nutraceuticals, or Health Supplements.
• Sensory Skills: Keen tasting ability for new products and existing batches.
• Education: Relevant degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field is preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with FSSAI amendments, legal metrology laws, and regulatory compliance for packaged foods.
