FashionTV India - Manager - Procurement (7-12 yrs)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager with a background in the salon or beauty industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality beauty products, tools, and equipment, ensuring that the salons are stocked with the necessary items to maintain excellent client service and operational efficiency. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and track inventory levels to ensure product availability without overstocking.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all procurement activities, ensuring salons are consistently supplied with beauty products, salon equipment, and other necessary materials.

- Source, evaluate, and establish relationships with reputable suppliers and vendors, including those for professional-grade hair care, skincare, styling tools, and furniture.

- Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing and maintain quality standards.

- Track inventory levels across salons, maintaining the optimal stock levels of consumables, equipment, and retail products while minimizing waste and overstock.

- Collaborate with salon managers and stylists to forecast product and equipment needs based on seasonal trends, customer demands, and new services.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product innovations, ensuring the salons are offering the latest and best products and services.

- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

- Develop and maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier agreements.

- Handle issues related to product quality, order discrepancies, and delivery delays with professionalism and efficiency.

- Prepare reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and inventory status for senior management.

- Provide training and guidance to other team members on the proper handling and use of products and equipment.

- Support the salon's marketing team by assisting in selecting products for retail offerings, packaging, and promotions.
