Job Overview:
As the Sourcing Team Leader in the commercial real estate division, you will oversee the sourcing of commercial properties, manage a team of sourcing executives, and ensure the smooth operation of property acquisition activities.
You will be responsible for driving team performance, ensuring high-quality leads, and collaborating with internal teams to meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of sourcing executives to drive property acquisition efforts.
- Provide mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team members meet targets and maintain high standards.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Property Sourcing:
- Oversee the sourcing of commercial properties (office spaces, retail, and industrial properties).
- Ensure the team identifies and secures high-potential properties based on client requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with property owners, brokers, and developers.
Quality Assurance:
- Verify and validate property details, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure the team provides timely and accurate information to internal teams and clients.
Strategy Development:
- Work with senior management to develop sourcing strategies that align with business goals.
- Track and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for sourcing properties.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and legal teams to ensure smooth handover of sourced properties.
- Coordinate with the support and operations teams to ensure property details are properly documented and updated.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor team performance and provide regular reports on sourcing activities and progress towards targets.
- Analyze the performance of sourcing strategies and adjust as necessary to optimize results.
Client Interaction:
- Assist in client meetings as necessary to discuss sourcing options and provide insights on market trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial real estate sourcing or related fields.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams within real estate industry.
- Strong understanding of the commercial real estate market, including office, retail, and industrial properties.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong network in the real estate sector is a plus.
