Job Description
- The role of IT Infrastructure -Cloud and DevOps Engineer is a specialist role and involve the following roles and responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy, and manage services on one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Good hands-on experience on deploying, configuring and troubleshooting of Kubernetes environment (on premise/cloud)
- Experience on deploying microservices applications on K8s clusters
- Develop reusable infrastructure modules and ensure consistent deployment across environments.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Argo CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Kubernetes.
- Create and maintain Helm charts for application deployment.
- Manage container lifecycle, including image builds, deployments, and scaling.
- Write, test, and maintain scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Develop automation scripts to streamline operational workflows and reduce manual intervention.
- Implement monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Cloud-native services.
- Set up logging and alerting to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and operations to improve the development and deployment processes.
- Implement and manage security best practices for cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Good hands-on experience on configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
- Good to have experience on OpenShift.
- Good communication and verbal skill
Desired Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud and DevOps roles.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Solid understanding and practical experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm charts.
- Proficiency in Python or strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience: 6 to 9 years
Education: B.Tech. / BS in Computer Science
Technical Skills & Certifications
- Relevant OEM Level Certifications from:
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
- Terraform
- Kubernetes
