Technical Excellence

Post-Graduate degree in the field of Education/MSW/Development Studies/other relevant discipline from recognized university/Institute.

Post-Graduation in commerce (specialization in Finance/Accounting)/MBA (specialization in Finance) or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute.

Bachelors degree in Public Health, Nutrition, or a related field. A masters degree is preferred.

Post Graduation in Environmental/Forest Management or Environmental Science

Required Experience

Minimum of 04 years total work experience related to Education project management in private/public/not-for-profit sector.
Minimum of 02 years experience with Government/Government Organizations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with agencies to facilitate sharing of best practices on science teaching, mathematics teaching, social science and language teaching, community engagement, school management.
Support department in reviewing school on all components of quality like classroom transaction, health hygiene, MDM, Cleanliness etc.
Undertake supportive supervision for all govt. interventions in schools at District and Block level
Attend district level review meeting of Education dept per month and share school visit report, district meeting report etc. for taking necessary action
Any other Functions related to quality education deemed necessary by the Department of Education as and when required
Support department in implementation of FLN programme at school with a focus on teachers training, teaching practice module development in context of Jharkhand.
Identify emerging challenges and opportunities in agriculture and irrigation and formulate innovative projects that address these issues effectively within the district.
Efficiently allocate and manage DMF funds and resources to support the implementation of innovative agriculture and irrigation projects, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Establish partnerships with agricultural institutions, research organizations, NGOs, and relevant stakeholders to implement projects that align with district and state agricultural goals.
Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of agriculture and irrigation projects, ensuring they are implemented successfully and produce measurable impact.
Promote innovative and sustainable agricultural practices, including organic farming, crop diversification, and soil conservation techniques.
Implement water-efficient irrigation systems and practices, optimizing water resources while ensuring equitable distribution.
Develop a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to assess the effectiveness of innovative projects and regularly report on their outcomes to relevant authorities.
Engage with local farmers, agricultural cooperatives, and stakeholders to ensure their participation and support for innovative agriculture and irrigation initiatives.
Advocate for policy changes and reforms that support agricultural and irrigation innovation and project initiatives at the district level.
Analyze agricultural and irrigation data and research findings to identify trends and areas for improvement in district agriculture and water management.
Report to the Team Leader, Planning and Monitoring Unit (PMU).
Any other duties as may be assigned
