Role & responsibilities
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Outbound Telecalling & Lead Generation**
- Make **150 outbound calls daily** to various target databases (potential clients, new-to-bank customers, or existing customers who may require liability products).
- Use provided leads, prospect databases, and CRM tools to identify opportunities for Liabilities products and cross sell.
- **Qualify** leads based on pre-defined criteria, focusing on gathering necessary information to assess potential for conversion.
- **Nurture leads** over multiple touchpoints, maintaining engagement and following up regularly to maximize chances of closing the sale.
2. **In-depth Product Knowledge & Sales Pitching**
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of the **banks liability products** (CASA, FD/RD, LI/GI/MF, loans, credit cards, etc.), including product features, benefits, eligibility criteria, and processes.
- Build expertise in **banking and financial products** to effectively **pitch to clients**, addressing their pain points and offering tailored solutions.
- Understand and stay updated on **competitor offerings**, effectively benchmarking products and making comparisons that highlight the unique advantages of the bank’s products.
3. **Collaboration with the Branch Sales Team**
- Work closely with the branch’s **sales team** to coordinate efforts in converting leads into closed accounts.
- Share information and feedback with the sales team on the quality of leads and conversion potential.
- Contribute to **sales meetings** with insights about customer feedback, competitive products, and market trends.
4. **Sales Target Achievement**
- Achieve a monthly target of **7-10 closures** of liability products, ensuring that all qualified leads are effectively converted with the support of the branch sales team.
- Strive to consistently meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets in line with the bank’s business objectives.
- Ensure that each call leads to a positive outcome, contributing directly to the **growth of liabilities sales** and enhancing the bank’s market share.
5. **Customer Relationship Management**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers through regular follow-ups and personalized service.
- Ensure an **exceptional customer experience** by understanding customer needs, offering appropriate solutions, and delivering timely responses.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, resolving queries and providing clarity on product offerings, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and trust in the bank.
6. **Data Management & Reporting**
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions, including call logs, lead details, and follow-up actions in the **CRM system**.
- Provide **daily and weekly reports** on call volume, lead status, sales conversions, and any other relevant metrics.
- Report progress and challenges to the **Area Head, Telesales** and the **Branch Sales Manager**, ensuring transparent communication and effective performance tracking.
7. **Sales Strategy and Process Improvement**
- Continuously assess and improve your **sales pitch and processes**, adopting best practices to maximize lead conversion.
- Provide feedback to the telesales team leadership on challenges, market conditions, and customer concerns.
- Participate in team discussions to brainstorm new approaches for lead generation and sales techniques.
8. **Training & Development**
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and understanding of new banking regulations and tools.
- Stay informed on **industry trends**, new banking products, and market shifts to be able to offer relevant solutions to clients.
- Actively contribute to the **learning culture** within the telesales team by sharing insights and collaborating with peers.
