National Sales head

We are urgently seeking a National Sales Head with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical equipment sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams in this niche market. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership, managing a team of 8-10 employees, and successfully executing national sales strategies. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and deep industry knowledge are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies within the pharmaceutical equipment sector to meet company goals.
• Lead the nationwide sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets, specifically in pharmaceutical equipment.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned pharmaceutical equipment customer accounts.
• Negotiate and close high-value agreements with large pharmaceutical equipment customers.
• Monitor, analyze, and suggest improvements to sales performance metrics within the pharma equipment domain.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts based on market trends and customer needs in the pharmaceutical equipment sector.
• Identify new market opportunities and potential customers within the pharmaceutical equipment industry.
• Work in close collaboration with Marketing and Product Development teams to ensure product offerings align with market needs.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, product launches, and technological advancements in the pharmaceutical equipment industry, ensuring the sales team is always well-informed.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in sales leadership, particularly in selling pharmaceutical equipment.
• Proven success in managing and motivating high-performance sales teams in the pharmaceutical equipment market.
• Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics in the pharmaceutical equipment sector.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel as required.
• BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a relevant field, with a focus on pharmaceutical equipment sales.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
Candidates with experience in selling pharmaceutical equipment will be given preference due to the specialized knowledge and skills required for this role.
