MIS Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented MIS Analyst to join our dynamic

Category Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing

data-driven reports, analyzing trends, and providing actionable insights to support

decision-making within the category business. This individual will work closely with

cross-functional teams, including category managers, operations, and leadership, to

ensure optimal data management and reporting processes are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Collect, organize, and analyze large sets of data related to product

categories, sales, inventory, and performance metrics.

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable

insights for the category team, ensuring all stakeholders have the

necessary data for decision-making.

2. Trend Analysis:

• Identify key trends and patterns in data to forecast product demand,

market shifts, and performance benchmarks.

• Conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement within

the category and provide recommendations based on findings.

3. Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with category managers to understand their data

requirements and deliver customized reports to support their strategies.

• Provide data-driven insights to assist in setting category growth

strategies, product selection, and inventory management.

• Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to

both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

4. Process Improvement:

• Continuously assess and improve reporting processes and systems to

ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.

• Identify automation opportunities to streamline reporting and reduce

manual effort.

5. Performance Metrics Management:

• Develop and monitor key performance metrics to track the success of

category initiatives and projects.

• Create performance reports that highlight areas for improvement and

opportunities for growth within the category team.
